Beirut bottle shark goes to the rescue of Kfaraabida

Rami Chahine

On the occasion of the protest against the privatization of the public beach. Idea: All maritime sports communities had agreed to take part in this protest. My plan was to take part in this on a shark made of upcycled material, as an ironic symbol of the ongoing destruction of the Lebanese coastline. Method: Using rope, water bottles and gallons and a wooden frame. The process was documented step by step and shared online.
