Ijribilfann

Rana Haddad and Pierre Hage Boutros

Ijribilfann is a reflexive artwork – a play on words in the Arabic language – that is materialized in an installation of equally sized wood planks arranged in parallel for a total distance of 30 meters, carrying messages in calligraphy. Passersby don’t need to walk around this artwork; it is made to be stepped on.
