Akram Zaatari
Monument #5 is a video of segments of desire in an urban Arab society, where the “image of desire becomes associated with conflict and is expressed through a scandal or crime”. It challenges the thin line which separates public and private life.
The Corniche Project was one of the earlier initiatives by Ashkal Alwan: The Lebanese Association for Plastic Arts.
