The mutations of women and sardines
Mohamed Chamsedine addresses the “evolution of the masculine Lebanese dream from sperm to fish to woman” in the white plaster cast of a woman looking out to sea, with photographic murals of canned sardines trailing on the sidewalk behind her.
The Corniche Project was one of the earlier initiatives by Ashkal Alwan: The Lebanese Association for Plastic Arts.
